Franklin Delano Roosevelt Memorial - Located along the famous Cherry Tree Walk on the Western edge of the Tidal Basin near the National Mall, the closest Metro stop is the Smithsonian stop. Jefferson Memorial – Located on the South bank of the Tidal Basin, the Jefferson Memorial can be reached by multiple routes, with the closest stop being the Smithsonian stop. The public may visit the Thomas Jefferson Memorial 24 hours a day. Korean War Veterans Memorial – The Memorial is located on French Drive, S.W., and is closest to the Foggy Bottom Metro stop. Lincoln Memorial - Located on 23rd Street, the Lincoln memorial can be reached via the Foggy Bottom Metro stop. The public may visit the Lincoln Memorial 24 hours a day. National World War II Memorial - Located on 17th Street, between Constitution and Independence Avenues, the memorial is flanked by the Washington Monument to the east and the Lincoln Memorial to the west.  By Metro, it is best reached via the Smithsonian stop. United States Navy Memorial And Visitors Center - Located at 701 Pennsylvania Avenue, N.W., the memorial can be reached by Metro by taking the Archives-Navy Memorial stop. Hours for the Visitors’ Center are Monday through Saturday, 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. from March 1st through October 31st (closed Sunday), and Tuesday through Saturday, 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. November 1st through February 28th (closed Sunday and Monday).  For more information, telephone 202-737-2300, or visit the memorial online.  

Vietnam Veterans War Memorial – Located on Henry Bacon Drive and Constitution Avenue, N.W., the memorial can best be reached by Metro via the Foggy Bottom stop. Constructed to honor and recognize all Americans who served in the Vietnam War. As a tribute to those who did not return, the names of 58,000 + who gave their lives, or who remain missing, are inscribed in the Memorial's walls. The names are in chronological order. Washington Monument
– Located at 14th & Independence N.W., it is best reached via the Smithsonian Metro stop. The Washington Monument is open daily from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, with the last tour beginning at 4:45 pm. The only days for scheduled closure are July 4th and December 25th. Advanced tickets may be obtained by The Washington Monument is free, but does require a ticket. The ticket kiosk for the monument, located at the base of the monument on 15th street opens at 8:30 am to distribute free tickets on a first come first serve basis. One person may pick up to six tickets maximum. All individuals (including children must have a ticket). During the spring and summer, tickets traditionally go very quickly for the entire day. The line for tickets have started as early as 7:30 am, please plan accordingly. If you care to reserve a ticket(s) in advance you may do so by going to either visiting the National Park Service ticketing website or by calling 1-877-444-6777, for group reservations only call 1.877.559.6777. There is a $1.50 fee per order to reserve tickets ahead of time. These tickets may be picked up at the “will call” window of the monument ticket kiosk the day of your tour.
